Our R&D is not confined to laboratories — it is driven by real farm conditions. Working closely with our technical managers, veterinarians, and zootechnicians, we continuously test and refine:

• Climate control systems (ventilation and pad cooling optimization)
• Housing design and airflow management adapted to local conditions
• Feeding programs and performance optimization
• Flock health protocols and biosecurity systems
• Productivity, mortality, and egg quality performance indicators

This approach allows us to quickly transform operational challenges into practical solutions.

Partnerships and Knowledge Transfer

KER TAR AGRO collaborates with equipment suppliers, technical partners, and local professionals to introduce and adapt proven technologies to the Cameroonian context. The successful deployment of pad cooling technology in 2025 is a direct result of this partnership-driven innovation model.

We also place strong emphasis on training and skills development, ensuring that new methods and best practices are transferred to our teams and embedded into daily operations.

Our R&D strategy is increasingly data-driven. We track and analyze key performance indicators such as:

• Lay rates and egg quality
• Feed efficiency and consumption
• Mortality and health indicators

Through R&D, KER TAR AGRO aims to become a reference platform for climate-adapted poultry farming in Cameroon and the CEMAC region. Our medium-term priorities include:
